Wow - what an amazing day!  Today was the official opening of our new store Paper Angel Studios.  Considering the snowy start to the day - it was so wonderful to see so many new and familiar faces.  A big thank you to everyone who came out to see what we are all about.  Also thank you to those who checked us out on face book and our website.  We were excited to share these first steps of our new adventure with you. Hello there - 

Let me take a minute to virtually introduce myself to those of you that may not know me.  My name is Melanie Brown - sister to Kim Vaughan, owner of Paper Angel Studios.  Monday to Friday I can be found making a difference in the lives of families as an RECE at our local childcare center here in Blenheim Ontario. I have been an ECE for over 15 years, but my full time passion was first discovered in 2007.  I love being a mommy to my two happy, healthy, beautiful angels. In my spare time (*chuckle as anyone who has two young children can relate*), I love to get lost in my scrap books.  For me it is a way to record those every day ordinary moments that makes my heart smile, BIG milestones, look Mom I did it, and first time experiences that I want to capture and cherish forever.

I am so excited about this new adventure that I am about to embark upon with my sister and Paper Angel Studios.  I look forward to meeting you and hearing about your stories, and what inspires you to create.         

Hi, my name is Kim and I would like to welcome you to the new Paper Angel Studios website. I hope you can check in from time to time to check on our classes, new supplies and activities. We are planning to open the storefront and studio by the end of January 2012. We will be hosting an open house where all scrap booking fans, or anyone curious about scrap booking can come and browse. We will have miniature lessons set up all day where you can create your OWN free scrap booking page! Just bring in a pic or two and we will supply the rest *sorry only one page per customer. We will have information about all the new classes starting up as well as displays of supplies for those scrap-bookers that prefer to do it in the privacy of their own homes. I cannot wait to meet you!
